The Cu Chi tunnel system formerly extended all the way to the Cambodian border, encompassing around 250 kilometers in total, 120 kilometers of which have been suitably conserved and are now open to the public. To make the voyage safer and less frightening, the ancient tunnels have been enlarged and reconstructed with cementation and lighting. Every 10 meters, there are additional emergency exits.
